The Lord Botetourt golfers took a week off from the Blue Ridge District tour to play a match with Rockbridge County last week at the Lexington Country Club. The Cavaliers won the head to head match by a score of 292 to 326.

Two LB golfers shot even par to lead the Cavs, as Samir Davidov and Ashton Harper both carded 71. Dylan Salvi had a two-over 73 and Jake Koffman had 77 for Botetourt. Seven other golfers also got to play in the match, Kaitlyn Mosdell-85, Cadyn Bowles-93, Trey Sharp-95, Xavier Shelton-104, Hunter Duncan-106, Cole Leavens-106 and Tyler Burdette-107.

β€œIt was nice to get the entire team out to play somewhere that they’ve never played before, and against good competition,” said LB coach Todd Smith. β€œI think they all enjoyed it and hopefully everyone got a little bit better.”

The Cavaliers are back in the Blue Ridge District today as they host a match at the Botetourt Golf & Swim Club at 1 p.m.
