The Lord Botetourt girls were seventh and the boys were 14th among 28 schools represented at the Virginia High School League Class 3 swim meet at the Swim RVA facility in Richmond on February 19.

The top eight finishers in each event were awarded a medal and all 13 Cavaliers competing scored points for the team. The top 16 swimmers in the morning preliminary meet returned for finals on Saturday evening. All six of the LBHS relays qualified for finals as well as nine individual events.

In the girls meet, Angelina Zeidan took second place in the 200 Freestyle and ninth in the 50 Freestyle. She also swam on the fifth place 400 Freestyle relay team with Emily Hanson, Layne Jones and Katie Cross as well as the sixth place 200 IM relay team with the same three teammates. The 200 Freestyle relay was 16th with Sydney Saunders, Taylor Lisle, Isabelle Fletcher and Cross.
