Hester Lou Wymer Milliner, 78, of Chesterfield, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Lee Wymer and Emma Evelyn King Wymer; daughter, Joyce Milliner; and sister, Carolyn Wymer.
Hester enjoyed sewing, tending to her flowers, and assisting with pastoring churches.
Left to cherish Hester’s memory are her husband of 62 years, Douglas Milliner, Sr.; daughter, Mitsy Milliner; son, Doug Milliner, Jr.; grandchildren, Jessica Long (Drew), Joshua Spence, Mary Dooley (Richard), Heather Gattis (Mike), Miranda DiRienzo (Hayden), and Hunter Milliner (Becca); numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Brogan (Kenneth), and Janet Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 12 noon in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home, with Pastor Gene Gillette officiating.
