Kerry Morris, 65, of Troutville, passed away to be with the Lord on June 3, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kermit “Abe” Morris, and mother, Helen Morris; and fur babies, Dolly and Oscar.
He is survived by his sister, Kelly Morris, and former wife, Mary Morris.
Kerry was born and raised in Botetourt County, attended Lord Botetourt High School, then graduated from Tennessee Tech University with an Engineering degree. He retired in 2019 after working 30 plus years at Gala Industries as an engineer. Kerry loved hunting and golf in his younger years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycles, helping his friends with projects and woodworking. He loved making gifts for his friends. Those left to remember him are many devoted friends who were there for him always.
The family received friends at Rader Funeral Home on Sunday, June 8, 2025 from 3-5 p.m. A graveside service was held in Pleasant Dale Memorial Park, 3732 Breckinridge Mill Road (Rt. 600) Fincastle, on Monday, June 9, 2025 at 10 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Angels of Assisi.
