Radford police arrest Bristol man on drug charges

Chad Everett Johnson, 34, of Bristol was arrested Monday in Radford on illegal drug charges.
Seized as part of the investigation were cocaine, methamphetamines, marijuana, prescription medication, a firearm, and over $900 in cash.

 

On Monday at approximately 11:20 a.m., Radford City Police arrested Chad Everett Johnson, 34, of Bristol on illegal drug charges.

Narcotics were found when K-9 Max alerted during an encounter with Johnson in his vehicle, in the West End Deli Mart parking lot, located at 2307 W. Main St.

Johnson was remanded to the New River Valley Regional Jail with no bond.

Johnson’s charges are as follows:

  • Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana
  • Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule II Drug, three counts
  • Possession of Schedule III Drug
  • Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule IV Drug, three counts
  • Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine
  • Possession with Intent to Distribute Meth
  • Possession with Intent to Distribute, while possessing a firearm

Cocaine, methamphetamines, marijuana, prescription medication, a firearm and over $900 in cash were seized as part of the investigation. The investigation is ongoing and no further information is available at this time.
