The Botetourt County Republican Women’s Club was one of 425 clubs recognized out of a total of 1,427 clubs at the 39th Biennial Convention of the National Federation of Republican Women in Philadelphia on September 16. The award was for excellence in leadership and community action. The club thanks all who partnered with them to help make a difference in the community.
The gift card drive to help hurricane recovery is still under way until the end of October. To help Texas and Florida, bring a Lowe’s, Walmart or Home Depot gift card to the Fincastle Library or the Blue Ridge Library.
