The James River girls tennis team defeated Carroll County in a home match last Thursday, 7-2.
Singles winners for the girls were Payton White, Maggie Brewster, Bella DiBenetto, Lily Falls and Regan Childs. Doubles winners were the teams of White and Brewster and Childs and Falls.
The Knights were scheduled to play Radford this week followed by a home match against Glenvar at Hollins University next Monday.
