The Tuesday Morning Club met on January 11 at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church with seven members and to guests present. Ruby Taylor called the meeting to order; hostess dot Hillard had devotions, Nancy Waddell read the minutes and Ruby Taylor gave the treasurer’s report.
Judy Overby and Jill Albers attended to share memories of their mother, Norma Johnson, a club member who passed away in December. Members placed a rose at her favorite seat in remembrance.
Barbara Harris won the door prize, and Nancy Waddell and Ruby Taylor won game prizes. Also in attendance were Gale Webb, Priscilla Hedrick and Rita Bruffey.
The February 8 meeting will be at a new location, Troutville Church of the Brethren. The February project will be Bingo prizes for the Brian Center.
