The Lord Botetourt volleyball team evened its record with a four-set win over Patrick Henry in Roanoke last Thursday. The Cavaliers lost the first set, 25-17, but ran the table in the next three to take the match, 25-23, 25-20 and 27-25.
Ava Stephens led LB with 14 blocks and two kills. Sydney Bergsten had seven kills and five blocks while Adyson Greathouse had five blocks and four kills.
The Cavaliers were at Tunstall on Tuesday but results were too late for publication. Next Tuesday, September 15, Christiansburg comes here for a rematch of a prior loss. When the two played in Christiansburg the Cavaliers won the first two sets but the Demons rallied to win the next three.
