Attic Productions’ next presentation, “A Most Horrid Conspiracy,” written by local playwright Dwayne Yancey, and directed by Attic veteran Katerina Yancey, runs May 28-31 with Thursday and Friday performances at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday shows at 2:30 p.m. Attic’s D. Presented in collaboration with the Botetourt Historical Society and Smithfield Plantation in Blacksburg, this historical drama is based on a true story. Set in the mid-to-late 1820s in a frontier cabin in Rush County, Ind., it follows widower John Wyatt, a man in his late 70s living with his daughter and grandchild. As he recounts a Revolutionary War story to his granddaughter, she takes on several roles throughout the one-act play.

Adult tickets are $20, students 18 and under and groups of 10 or more are $15 when paid in cash or by check at the box office.
