Jerry “Scooter” Lee St.Clair, Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry St.Clair and Debra Bott McClure; stepfather, Ric McClure; maternal grandparents, William “Chick” Bott and Eula Wertz Bott-Naff; paternal grandparents, David “Lee” St.Clair and Dorothy Secrist St.Clair; and sister-in-law, Arryn St.Clair.
Jerry was born on a military base in Germany and lived all over the country. He enjoyed visiting many foreign countries in his life. He was a graduate of Liberty High School in Bedford. After graduation he joined the Army and served in Operation Desert Storm in Iraq. After leaving the military he worked in Afghanistan.
Jerry was a sportsman and loved to fish from the time he was a toddler. He enjoyed yearly October fishing trips to Nags Head in the Outer Banks with his brother Todd and brother-in-law John. More than anything he loved being PopPop to his four granddaughters.
Scooter will be deeply missed by the few people he chose to be close with.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Teri; son Ethan St.Clair (Kendra); stepson, Dakota Lam; granddaughters, Kynsley’skyy, Kyleigh’reign, Kyreiella’storm St.Clair and Esther Lam; siblings, Michelle St.Clair (John Roberts), Todd St.Clair and David (Skye) St.Clair; stepmother, Nancy St.Clair (Teddy Dougherty); aunts, Shirley St.Clair Mills (Tommy) and Becky Bott Martin (Billy); and his fur babies, Daisy and Mickey.
